100 Haiku for the 80s Generation
The 80s. A totally rad decade when hair was taken to new heights, we all wanted our MTV and everyone knew the answer to, “who you gonna call?” The Breakfast Club enlightened us about detention and Marty McFly took us back to the future.
100 Haiku for the 80s Generation will have you flash dancing your way through this gnarly era with these awesome haiku. In only 17 syllables, each poem will ignite a memory, transport you back in time, and have you dancing footloose faster than you can say, "where's the beef?"
Dana Parker didn’t expect to find herself dead at age thirty-four, stuck in limbo, and working as an afterlife counselor. But she likes her job helping the newly departed unload their emotional baggage and move on. Dominic Micelli is no typical client. Brash, stubborn, and mad as hell, he grudgingly admits that at the time of his accidental death, he was the only person of interest in his wife’s disappearance. He claims he doesn’t know what happened to her and can’t move on until he finds out. Torn between suspicion and sympathy, Dana agrees to do what Dominic cannot and return to the living world to seek the truth. She soon learns that walking the line between life and afterlife has its personal and professional complications. As Dana uncovers troubling secrets from his past, she realizes she must finally face the dark ones from her own. Dangerous complications. Even for a dead woman.
